At Sahara Social Welfare School, Gwalior, every day brings new opportunities for our children to learn, grow, and discover their potential. Over the past two weeks, our classrooms have been filled with curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning as students actively participated in a variety of educational and co-curricular activities designed to support their overall development.
The day begins with morning prayer and light physical exercise, helping children develop discipline, mindfulness, and healthy habits. Our dedicated teachers conducted engaging sessions in English, Mathematics, Oral Counting, and Body Parts, making learning interactive and enjoyable. Alongside academics, students also participated in Moral Education classes, where they learned the values of honesty, kindness, respect, and responsibility—qualities that help shape them into compassionate and responsible individuals.
Creativity continued to flourish through drawing activities, allowing children to express their imagination, build confidence, and develop their artistic skills. Small moments of care also made the learning experience more joyful, as our teachers distributed light refreshments to the children, ensuring they remained energetic and motivated throughout the day.
One of the highlights of this fortnight was the generous visit by the women of the Jain community, who distributed notebooks and pencils to our students. Their thoughtful gesture brought smiles to many young faces and served as a reminder that community support plays an invaluable role in strengthening education for underprivileged children. We sincerely thank them for their kindness and encouragement.
