We the “ SAHARA SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY “ ( A TEAM OF DEDICATED AND EXPERTS IN VARIOUS FIELDS’’) a non-government organization (NGO) established in 1995 in the name meaning and aim is to touch the Height of the SKY with the mission of Literacy and Promotion of Education among all , Promotion of the Better Health Services by way of providing SKILL DEVELOPMET TRAINING to Unemployed Youth and Villagers of various Village of Bhopal and Gwalior Specially for Poor / Slum / BPL Community with the Promotion of Employment for all , Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan , Saksharta Jagrukta Program , Sarv Jan Swasthya , along with to engaged in various Social Development / Upliftment Activities such as upliftment of down trodden class ,Promotion of Employment for Youth , inhibition of feticide , female upliftment , education & medical awareness, sanitation ,plantation & national integrity since last five years. We too have organize numerous Literacy Promotion camps and run Open / Elementary Schools at various places of bhind ,Gwalior,shivpuri ,Guna ,Harda Bhopal, Sehore etc DISTRICT and near surroundings at Poor / Slum areas for the Literacy of the Child , those who are not going to School because of the unawareness of their parents about the importance of the Education / Literacy in Life , Organisms free medical camps & relief camps for natural calamities. We played a vital role in various Social Upliftment activities in the State. Society is having a core group of dedicated team of members, who not only doing social work through various ways but also consistently fighting against many social evils such as dowry, female Illiteracy & Castism
Our Goals
- To promote and develop education programs for the benefit of poor/slum community children, as well as rural, urban, and tribal populations, focusing on their overall development in education, health, and culture through the efforts of the society.
- To run literacy programs, adult and non-formal education initiatives, establish educational institutions, and support poor and meritorious students.
- To establish vocational training centers for skills such as sewing, cutting, knitting, toy making, food processing, and other trades to foster economic development among the underprivileged.
- To protect the environment through plantation drives, proper sanitation, and the provision of drinking water.
- To develop educational and vocational centers for women and children to help them achieve economic self-reliance.
- To create awareness about consumer rights, human rights, and duties.
- To eradicate social evils such as dowry, child marriage, and child labor, and to promote awareness in these areas.
